Storage Corner Group Acquires Property in Utah

AUGUST 2024 -- Storage Corner Group, a Bay Area based regional self storage investor and operator, recently acquired an existing self storage property located at 135 S Pleasant Grove Boulevard in Pleasant Grove, Utah. The property represents Storage Corner Group's nineteenth successful self-storage acquisition and third self-storage acquisition in the Provo-Orem MSA. The property, rebranded as "Storage Corner Pleasant Grove," will be operated by Storage Corner Group's in-house property management team and contains approximately 72,000 square feet, spanning 420 units. Storage Corner Group worked collaboratively to structure a mutually beneficial transaction to meet the needs of the existing property ownership, involving a purchase and recapitalization of certain ownership that desired to roll their equity interests forward. Aligning with Storage Corner Group's core investment thesis, the property has a value-add business plan and will undergo a significant renovation to improve its competitive market positioning.


Storage Corner Group also recently executed a self-storage transaction in Hayward, CA (East San Francisco Bay Area) and working to complete several others across the Mountain West. Storage Corner Group's current portfolio spans in excess of 850,000 square feet of self-storage and small-bay light-industrial properties, across California, Utah and Idaho.
